CREATING A MEMORABLE CRAFT BEER AD CAMPAIGN:

Our team at Farmore partnered with Cigar City Brewing to develop and launch a regional commercial ad campaign for their flagship craft beer, the wildly popular Jai Alai IPA. The objective was clear: create a suite of broadcast spots that were funny, relatable, and deeply memorable.

To achieve this, we developed the creative concept: “Internal Monologue.”

Anyone who has discovered this incredible craft beer has likely encountered the exact same initial hurdle: how to actually pronounce the name Jai Alai (pronounced “hi-lie”). Rather than shying away from this common consumer experience, we leaned directly into it. The campaign humorously captures characters' internal panic as they attempt to order the beer, inviting the viewer to give it a shot. Because no amount of embarrassment is worth missing out on this world-class IPA.

Farmore concepted, scripted, and filmed two unique 30-second commercial spots, alongside 15-second digital cutdowns. The entire campaign was captured over a seamless two-day production schedule with full cast and crew.

We submitted this campaign to the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Tampa Bay, where it took home the prestigious “Best of the Bay” award for TV Advertising, followed by a Silver ADDY Award in AAF District 4 (covering the State of Florida and the Caribbean).
